As the Director of Business Services, I oversee the support services of budgets and finance, student information system data, purchasing, food service, and warehouse operations.  It has been a pleasure to serve in this capacity for Payson Unified School District since 2011.
We have a great team in Business Services and take pride in ensuring resources are available for students and staff that support the district mission of “creating confident, successful and responsible citizens by providing quality education and training in a safe and supportive environment.”
It is our goal to ensure the citizens of our community feel confident that PUSD is fiscally responsible with the resources that are afforded to us.  PUSD has received The Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from both Arizona School Business Officials International and Government Finance Officers Association for over twenty consecutive years.

Budget

The Payson Unified School District Business Services Department manages an aggregate budget of approximately $20 million dollars that includes funds such as Maintenance and Operations, Capital, Federal, State and Local grants, Debt Service, and Donations.  The latest independent audit performed by Clifton Larson Allen, LLP PC, noted that the District’s financial position is “presented fairly in all material respects.”  We have had three consecutive audits with no audit findings.
